Attention Texans: Do you like CBD oil? Tell your state.

The Texas Department of State Health Services is working on a ban for the sale of CBD oil and CBD oil-based products. If it passes, customers will have to resort to other methods of obtaining CBD oil. As John Stowe, owner of The Smoker’s Alternative in Sherman, maintains: “We have vets, we have older people, and we have people who get it for their children for seizures.” Because CBD has no jarring psychoactive effects, it is a reliable treatment and remedy for pain and inflammation. The Texas Cannabis Industry Association (TCIA) claims that the state’s proposal would be “detrimental to thousands of Texans… [who] rely on natural remedies.” Take action and sign the TCIA’s online petition here: https://www.texascannabisindustry.org/txcbdban.
